Our farmers

We are very proud of our farmers. We have selected them as our suppliers due to the high standards of their produce, their approach to animal welfare and, most importantly, their locality to us.

Our beef farmer:

David Fenner

Bullock Down Farm, Beachy Head

We are unbelievably lucky to have David within a mile of our shop and to also have the ability to buy quality, grass fed beef direct from the farm, not something that many butchers are able to do.

Our organic lamb farmer:

Martin Hole

Montague Farm, Hankham

The farm is located on the western edge of Pevensey Levels. Martin's family have farmed there since 1942 and have been organic since 1998. They take pride in their farmland with its many wildlife habitats, thus delivering an environment which influences all aspects of farmlife.

Willow Lodge Farm, Nr Uckfield

Richard has been supplying us with excellent quality pork for the last 15 years. His pigs are raised with outstanding levels of animal welfare producing our delicious pork, bacon and gammon cuts.

Our free range chickens are raised on a small farm in Arlington. Slow grown and free range, they get to enjoy the outdoors all year. High welfare and feed quality ensures happy and delicious chickens.
