Our festive poultry farmer has been producing turkeys and geese for the Christmas market at his farm in Vines Cross since 1950.
The flock is slow grown over a period of 6 months which allows for full maturity, establishing a good layer of fat for each bird leading to a happy and contented flock. All of which contribute to a traditional and delicious Christmas centre piece.
As well as geese we can supply both the standard, succulent white turkeys and the richer, gamier bronze turkeys which all live in the fields with space to roam freely and socialise. Just let us know your preference when you place your order.

Our White Turkeys
This classic bird produces a succulent, tasty breast meat with generous thighs and wings for those who prefer the darker portions.
Our Bronze Turkeys
The bronze turkey is more closely related to the wild turkey in both appearance and taste. Its richer, gamier taste has risen in popularity recently.
Please note: Our turkeys are ordered at the untrussed weight (with guts etc.) therefore when you collect your turkey you can expect an approximate drop in cooking weight of up to 15%. Our price per kilo is set to allow for this.
What size bird do I need?
Remember that the larger the bird then the more meat-to-bone ratio so the better value for money, especially if you’re a fan of the turkey leftovers!

All Christmas orders all are subject to availability and are to be collected from our shop, specific instructions will be given when you place your order.
* This year we have changed our collection process to improve the shop flow. Therefore 23rd December will be for the collection of pre-ordered Christmas orders only. Any extra cuts such as diced steak, lamb etc. will need to be pre-ordered and collected on 21st / 22nd and will not be available to buy on 23rd.
Looking for a smaller alternative to roast turkey?
We have a wide range of other Christmas cuts for those not fancying a whole turkey, we can provide succulent, rolled boneless turkey breast which you can stuff with our own Christmas stuffing.
We also have a range of other Festive cuts which include prime local, Beachy Head reared beef, home cured and smoked gammon joints, home cured salt beef and local free range chickens.

OUR SAUSAGES, CHIPOLATAS & PIGS IN BLANKETS
Mr Heath's seasoned sausages and chipolatas are made to our own secret recipe and are hand linked and made in our shop. Our pigs in blankets are delicious, home made and just £6.50 for 10.
OUR CURED BACON
We have our home cured streaky smoked bacon or unsmoked to keep your turkey as succulent and tasty as possible. We also have home cured gammon joints available too.
We sell delicious easy to make stuffing, take your pick from Sage & Onion or Parsley & Thyme. We do both seasoned sausage meat and plain sausage meat for stuffing, or why not try our Christmas sausage meat with cranberries.
